Just who will you be

Okay, so I've been catching up on some reading.. and somehow I'm into self help books now! not a crazy self help books like my brother who barges in kinokuniya every weekend to get a book by Wayne Dyer. I was never really into these kind of books.... I thought reading something fiction based like Coralline written by Neiil Gaiman was worth reading.

Anyway so here's how it went, I went to Bangsar Village the other day walked into MPH and the first thing that I saw was a book written by Maria Shriver "Just Who Will You Be" yes she is a Kennedy and yes she is the wife of the great Arnold Schwarzenegger but the most important thing is that she is Maria Shriver a person whom believes that its all about who you are and not what you do or what position you hold in this world. Its an AMAZING book!

so if your looking for a book to read! you know what to do!
Regards!

Do my feet fit in your shoes?

or no matter how small your shoes are, I want my feet in!

*Have you ever had that feeling, where you've wanted to be like that person, live his/her life? I come across people,  everyday having that problem.... but it isn't worth it cause all it does is makes your life more miserable.  Yes you might not be perfect or he/she might be portraying the qualities that you want to portray too or they may be scoring the grades that you want to score, or perhaps whatever you wanted they have.

*We face these conflicts everyday, but if you take a few moments and think about all these, they actually make you feel worse, depressed, and just creates a whole bad vibe around you which eventually effects your daily life. I think the best way to overcome things like these is to look for the qualities that you have in you that make you different from that person, use those strengths to find out who you really are. And if you can't find anything start something, do something productive and eventually you'll actually find yourself better than that person.

* Eventually that "do I fit in your shoes" feeling will vanish. And that makes this journey so interesting the experience that one goes through!

All my single ladies!

Don't we all miss the days when music was life. When one can just sit back and relax while listening to the beautiful melody with inspiring  lyrics from artists like John Denver, Tina Turner,  Michael Jackson, The Carpenters, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Bob Dylan , Aerosmith the list can go on! We still do however still hear amazing music from amazing artists like these.  Celine Deon, Maroon 5, Beyonce !, Chris Daughtry, Robbie Willams, Simple Plan and the list goes on!

I enjoy music from beyonce I'm sure a lot of us do. I think she just makes music real! each and every song has meaning ,  she sings it with power! and passion and I think that makes her music so special.  Her first album Dangerously In Love was a huge hit! not only in the Sates but throughout the world. The album contains a combination of slow jam and uptempo songs. She then released her next album  in 2006 titles  "B'Day". The album still remains as inspiration to many.
Last year, beyonce released her latest album titled "I Am... Sasha Fierce". Personally I think its the best and the songs are just amazing. From songs like "If I were a boy", "All My Single Ladies" and many more.  Beyonce has also acted in movies such as Dreamgirls, The Fighting Temptations, Austin Powers, The Pink Phanter and Cadillac Records.

Bride Wars! simply the best!

Besides cramming through all the homework, I finally managed to slip in a few hours, and take time to drop by at the theaters, hoping to watch an interesting movie, after a quick glance,  the beauty of Anne Hathaway! and the charming Bryan Greenberg caught our eyes, not forgetting Golden Globe Award Winner Kate Hudson. Definitely a huge hit! with music from artist like Natasha Bedingfield , Colbie Calliat, Rick James, Duffy  and many more

*The movie starts off when two best friends Emma played by Anne Hathaway and Liv(Kate Hudson) happily plan their wedding with a "must have" list. Throughout the movie, they share laughter and sadness together until they're both about to get married and they realize that there had been a clash in wedding dates! this is when all the drama starts where one of them have to give up the venue of the wedding. Emma happens to be a school teacher who always takes care of others but not looking after herself. Liv on the other hand is a successful lawyer is more of a perfectionist who always wants perfection.

* Finally on the wedding day, liv marries the man she wanted where else where else Emma felt that he wasn't the right guy for her. She then marries Nate who happens to be Liv's brother.   The both best friends then leave behind all the commotion and reunite as best friends.

( This is just a short summary by the way don't forget to catch it!)

In my opinion, The movie wasn't just all about the amazing story line but it also portrayed values such as forgiveness, rational thinking and of course the value of a friend that truly was a message to everybody!  (=

Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis

                                                                   Jackie Kennedy
                                                               Caroline Kennedy
Truly an inspiration! Jacqueline Kennedy was born on July 28th 1929 and was the wife and first lady of the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy until his assassination. She later married Arsitotle Onasis a Greek shipping magnate. I was inspired after watching the movie "Jackie, Ethel,Joan:The Woman of Camelot screened in 2001.  She is well known for her intelligence, beauty, quotes and the books she edited. Her daughter Caroline Bouvier serves as an American author and attorney. All in all, Jackie Kennedy is truly amazing and remains legend!
